Joseph Overbey
Director & CinematographerJoseph Overbey is a Brooklyn based director and cinematographer. With formal training in both still photography and the art of cinema, his visual style is inspired by humanism and the appreciation of artistic curiosity.
Overbey has DoP’ed several independent narrative films that have been selected by festivals such as, The Oregon Short Film Festival, The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival & Toronto’s Inside Out Film Festival.
Overbey has been an active member of Filmshop, a nonprofit collective of independent filmmakers, since 2018. He was selected to join Filmshop Studio, Brooklyn’s first cooperative film studio in 2019.
stephen lyman
Executive ProducerStephen is one of the leading American experts on authentic Japanese shochu. He has visited approximately 90 shochu distilleries and has sampled around 3,000 different brands. In 2015, he was the first person to become a certified shochu adviser through the Sake School of America (SSA).
In 2013 he began working at a handmade shochu distillery in Kagoshima every fall. in late 2018 he relocated to Fukuoka, Japan.
On International Sake Day 2019, his first book, The Complete Guide to Japanese Drinks, was released worldwide by Tuttle Publishing and was nominated for a 2020 James Beard Book Award.

Tin Lee is a writer and director based in New York. Born in Hong Kong, she moved to San Francisco in 2001 to study at San Francisco State University where she received a B.A. in Film Production, going on to coordinate a variety of Asian and Asian American film festivals in SF.
